Volunteer Opportunities at Lacy
PTA Community Outreach - The mission of the Lacy PTA includes outreach to students in need and their parents. The Community Outreach Committee announces three new initiatives to help carry out this mission. Please volunteer your time to your fellow Lacy community members:
Outreach Task Force: A small, educated group of parents is needed to meet regularly with Lacy staff to identify and prioritize the school's most pressing outreach needs and assign available resources.
Parent Partners: Parents experienced in their dealings with the school are needed to partner with parents wanting assistance in establishing better communication with and participation in school and classroom activities.
Breakfast Buddies: Parents are needed to welcome and eat with students participating in the breakfast program at Lacy (7:45 - 8:25 a.m.). The goal is to nurture friendships with and offer encouragement to this important group of Lacy students.
